Christmas in Idaho: Ledger's Baby Blessing

While home in Idaho we decided to bless Ledger. We were sad none of TJ's family were able to be there but it was so neat to bless him on Christmas day will my dad and all of my brothers there. TJ gave a beautiful blessing and Ledger didn't make a peep the whole time. Instead of doing it during sacrement  meeting we blessed him right after in the Relief Society room. I loved doing it this way because it seemed more personal and I could really listen and hear what TJ was blessing Ledger with.

I wrote a few notes from Ledger's blessing down. Next kid I'm definitely recording their blessing, I don't know why I've never done that. Ledger was blessed to know how much his family loves him. He was blessed to grow and develop properly both body and spirit. He was blessed to know that he will be watched over and protected by those who love and care for him, and also by his Father in Heaven. He was given the blessing of making decisions that will set an example for those around him. He was told to prepare himself to be a strength to his family. He was blessed to know of his loving disposition. And also blessed if he followed the gospel to be able to have the opportunity to serve a mission and find a worthy spouse to marry in the temple.

I'm so grateful for TJ. He gives the most beautiful blessings to our boys and I'm so thankful to have the power of the priesthood in our lives. We love our little Ledger and it was a wonderful day to celebrate our Savior, the Gospel, and our new beautiful baby boy!

Christmas in Idaho: Christmas Eve & Christmas Morning

Nativity

On Christmas Eve we acted out the Nativity scene. It was lots of fun and the kids loved getting all dressed up. It was crazy with all the little ones but well worth it. We had 10 grandkids 6 and under to work with that made some very cute shepherds, wise men, angels, a Joseph, and a baby Jesus.

After acting out the Nativity. We went with Anderson tradition of opening one present, which is always pajamas. I love new jammies. Especially on my cute babies.

Santa brought Cohen a remote control McQueen and Mater. 

 All Ledger really wants is some warm milkies.

New hats and gloves for the cold weather in Idaho.

We decided to have the boys get each other a present. Cohen picked an stuffed angry bird for Ledger and Ledger got Cohen some bath-time fun alphabet/numbers set.

It was such a fun Christmas to see Cohen get so excited, and also all my nieces and nephews excited for their gifts. We pretty much let the kids open their gifts in the morning then we headed to church. After church we came home and put some kiddos down for naps, then the adults opened their gifts.

Christmas in Idaho: Treats, Treats, Treats

Family get togethers always equal lots of food and lots of treats. Spencer and Nikki helped us make some yummy marshmallow hot-chocolate stirrers.

Christmas in Idaho: Visit to the Farm & Celebrating Merilee's Graduation

We went to Idaho for Christmas and no trip would be complete with out a visit to the Anderson Dairy Farm. The kids loved it!

Climbing hay stacks had to be one of my favorite things to do as a kid on the farm.

Merilee graduated from BYU-Idaho in December so we celebrated by going out for Thai food and Nikki made her this adorable  yummy but disgusting looking cake.
