I've been growing out Cohen's hair. It is really long. The only way he will let me wash it is if I do "dinosaur hair." I have to get him a mirror to show him every time too. He loves it!

More fun at the library. The boys love the bubbles and the crafts after the stories.

This is one of my favorite pinterest makeover's to date. We had a junky plastic corner shower cady that was dunzo. I hated how these shower cady's always fell off the shower heads so when I saw putting it on a heavy duty hook on the opposite wall I was sold. It's amazing, and yet so simple!

Ledger loves to climb up on our chairs but then cries when he realizes they are pushed in and he is stuck.

Cohen loves taking pictures with my phone. I frequently find lots of pictures he has taken. These were a couple of my favorites that he took of himself. The second is my absolute favorite. 

And just because I think they are the cutest boys on earth.

We headed back to St. Louis the last weekend in January because Pops was being awarded the Wright Brothers Award for over 50 years of flying. We went to a fun new children's museum in Chesterfield called Myseum. Cohen and Ledger loved it.

Christmas 2012

For Christmas we headed to St. Louis. TJ had a really nice long 5 week break so we spent a little over 3 weeks in St. Louis. We had so much fun, and loved getting to spend some time with TJ's family.

Our boys are such good sleepers in the car. We are so lucky! Most of the time they will sleep the whole 3 1/2 hour ride to St. Louis.

My boys loved GG's Christmas tree. She has a bunch of the Hallmark Ornaments that make music and move and so they wanted to spend tons of time looking at those.

GG also makes gingerbread (real gingerbread) houses for everyone to decorate.

TJ let Cohen decorate this one all by himself. He's a little less of a control freak then I am.

And we can't ever make the trip to St. Louie without sneaking in a private flight with Papa.

The boys in their jammies on Christmas eve. We went to the cabin Christmas Eve and did the Nativity. Then we came home and go the boys all ready for bed. This was the best I could get them to pose. They were ready for their milk, and go "nigh nigh!"

I'm sad this picture is blurry! Back in April we met this really nice lady from St. Louis at TJ's cousin's wedding. A few months later Gem gave us the cutest hooded towels with the boys names embroidered on them from this same lady that we had met. I thought it was the sweetest thing ever and the boys love their towels!!! Ledgers is a yellow duck and so we stared calling him our yellow duck. He loves pillows and any time you tell him to do "nice baby," he lays his head down on a pillow. So for Christmas we thought the perfect gift for him would be a yellow duck pillow pet! He loved it!!!

Cohen got a super cool castle with lots of guys to fight dragons and dinosaurs. 

Ledger also got a shake n' go Fin McMissle that he loves.

This was Cohen's absolute favorite present though. It's a T-Rex. This kid loves dinosaurs and he named him Rudy, of course! He's obsessed with Rudy from Ice Age 3. He slept with his dinosaur for a long long time.

We went to see two movies over the break. First we went without our kids to see Les Miserables. I loved it! I didn't think I would having just seen the play, but I absolutely loved it and would have gone to see it over and over again if TJ would have let me. We also took the boys to see Wreck it Ralph. Another great movie.

We had such a fun Christmas break and even got to spend some time with our good friends the Nelsons on New Years Eve. We also got to celebrate with Dayna her 50th Birthday! It was a great trip and an amazing Christmas.

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

At the beginning of December, my dreams came true and I finally got to go see Les Miserables. It was amazing and LOVED it! I could listen to the soundtrack all day long. It was fun to get dressed up with my hubby and go out! This was our December date package!

It was so much fun decorating the tree this year. This is the first year Cohen has really gotten in to it. Both the boys loved helping me decorate for Christmas. Ledger did a good job of un-decorating the tree, daily!

I went to send some Christmas packages and it wasn't too cold outside so we walked. Well, I walked, and the boys got to ride. It was nice though cause they were strapped in. People looked at me like I was slightly crazy. Waiting in line with my packages and a wagon full of crazy boys. 

At our library they built this awesome igloo out of milk cartons. Cohen loved it!

My neighbor Nichole is amazing. She has helped domesticate me in so many ways. She works full time but she is still always so on top of things like making halloween cookies, gingerbread houses, and etc. She invited us to come make gingerbread rice krispy treat houses with their family. Cohen helped me decorate his house and did an great job.

In October I got called to be the Young Women's 2nd Counselor. I love my calling, and I love my 

young women. They are such an awesome group of girls and I learn so much from them. We went ice-skating the beginning of December. I just watched. Ice skating is not a talent I possess. 

Rudy the train came to Union Station and we had to see him! (really, not that cool, but Cohen loved it so that is all that mattered) I thought you got to go for a ride, but you actually just walked all the way through the train looking a ton of Christmas decorations. My guess is someone didn't have anymore room in their house and decided they could store it all in a train!

They had a fun little train for the boys to ride. Because we have a Union Station membership the boys got to ride for free. This was definitely the highlight of the outing.

The boys also got to go see Santa and Mrs. Clause. TJ was confused at first and thought there were two Santa's, he had never seen a Mrs. Clause before. I thought they were the cutest pair ever, and Mrs. Clause was slightly less scary and so Ledger was okay with her holding him. 

Ledger is a messy eater! He got a bath in the sink one night after being especially messy.

We had a little pre-Christmas party with a couple of our neighbors. TJ made a bacon wrapped turkey. It was pretty yummy, even though I don't love turkey. We also did a white elephant gift exchange and after putting the kids to bed we played games. We love our neighbors!!! They really have become our family away from family.

TJ loves OREO's. He has a method of the eating them, and feels it his responsibility to teach his boys. Dad's get to do all the cool stuff!
