March was a very fun month for us. Between lots of march madness basketball parties, St. Patricks Day parades, March Day celebration, and lots of playing choo-choo's we had a very good month. Also we found out in March that baby Bunnell #2 was on its way!
My freshman year in college my roommates and I were up way too late one night and created a holiday. March Day! March Day takes place on March 1st and basically the only rule is that you have to eat a pickle or else you'll have bad luck all the rest of March. We continued to celebrate it all the years we were in Rexburg together and we were always coming up with new fun things to add to our March Day festivities. Well this March Day my amazing friend Elsa sent me a March Day package and it totally made my day (Month).
I also continued to take my cake decorating classes through the first two weeks in March. My cupcakes using a few of the technics we learned that week in class.
For our final week we had to make a final cake. I loved the way mine turned out! I never say this because its never true but mine was the best in the class! (not saying a whole lot for my classes talent, but sure boosted my ego).
Cohen was pretty much obsessed with his hat and gloves. He figured if he put them on it meant he could go outside. How about some pants buddy!
On St. Patricks Day weekend the Nelson's invited us to go downtown to the parade with them. It was amazing to me (being irish) how many people claimed to be Irish on this holiday and drink some beer to celebrate their heritage. It was lots of fun though and Cohen like all the horses and big inflatables.
Have we gotten rid of the binki? No, and we figured what the heck one works so well how about two?
Cohen loves bed time. In fact he often requests when he gets tired to be put to bed. One of our favorite things is story time. Cohen absolutely loves books and would read books all day with you if he could.
Another one of Cohen's new favorite thins is "pop pop" (popcorn). It was introduced to him by dad while mom was away in Wisconsin with Grandma and now he requests it just about everyday.
Two hand shovel: not sure who he gets this from? Dad or Aunt Merilee?
And last but not least another favorite thing is "choo-choo's." We got Cohen trains for Christmas and he wasn't really that into them. We kept trying and finally he loves them. Below is a track that mom built!
Now here is a track that TJ built. Pretty sure he loves trains almost as much as Cohen. It's funny to watch him try and use all of the tracks, then tell me Cohen needs more tracks. They love playing trains together though and it gives mom a good break.
And a photo of my little man just because I think he is the cutest boy on earth!
