Cohen: 5 Weeks

He is such a happy little boy and is smiling more and more everyday! We can't help but smile everytime we see him smile!

We went to the doctor this week for Cohen's one month check up and he is a very healthy happy baby! This is what Dr. Mayer had to say about Cohen:

9/28/09
Height: 22 1/2" 90th Percentile
Weight: 10lbs 1 oz 75th Percentile
Head: 39 cm 50-75th Percentile

She also said he was developing very well and seemed to be very strong. When she put him on his tummy to see how he was doing at holding his head up he seemed to kind of show off and enjoyed her praise at how strong he was! We are loving every moment with our little boy and can't believe how big he is getting already!

23 WEEKS

Here is my 23 weeks prego picture. I swearI was barely even showing a week ago and this week out popped this belly. As far as other updates go we sold the townhome and we will most likely be moving out the end of this month. We are looking at apartments, but I really don't want to move twice pregnant so I'm trying to talk TJ into just moving in with my parents for the 8 weeks between when we move out of the townhome and when we move to St. Louis. We would just basically take our clothes and necessities then probably send the rest of our stuff out to St. Louis. This would make the move in July pretty easy!!! Our next Dr.'s appointment is next week so we'll kepp you posted on how Baby Cohen is doing!
We also want to thank Mirae in a quick note for allowing us to live in her beautiful townhome. It has been a great home for us for the past 2 years and we've made so many great memories here. We will miss it but we are excited to live close to you...and spend lots of time together. We love you! Thanks again!

It's a Boy!

On Thrusday we went to find out what we were having. Pops and Gem (tj's grandparents) were in town visiting so we had them go with us. I was really paranoid that the baby wouldn't show us his parts so I had heard that if you drink caffeine an hour before it raises their heart rate and gets them moving. Sure enough it worked and our little boy showed his stuff right away. The only bad effect was he kept moving like crazy for about an hour after the appointment. We added a few pictures and a video of him kicking. It's amzing what they can do these days. As far as the name goes we really like Cohen Brody Bunnell but we aren't 100% sure on the middle name. TJ couldn't be more excited that he's getting his little boy. I was convincied it was a girl and so was he because I kept saying it's going to be a girl. I couldn't get him to stop smiling the whole day. We are so excited for our little boy!!!!
Here is what they call a 4D picuture of the back of little Cohen!

Here is a side profile of him with his hand up by his eye.

Here is his perfect little spine and ribs.

Here is the picture that revealed that its a Boy! ( if you can't tell don't feel bad I can't really either, its a good thing we have proffessionals who know what they are doing)

Here is a front picture of him. He's really small, he measures in only the 19th percentile in size so hopefully he will get a little bigger in the next few weeks and catch up. (NOT TO BIG THOUGH. I'M TOTOALLY OKAY WITH A SMALL BABY)
This is the video of Cohen's little leg kicking. He may be a red head with his fiestyness!

For those of you who do not already know....We are expecting our first baby! We are so excited and can't wait to be parents! I will be 16 weeks along tomorrow, and my current due date is August 29th. We are moving to St. Louis right after graduation the end of July...so hopefully I will be able to find a good doctor out there before we move. Oh...and we find out the sex of the baby on the 9th of April...only four more weeks!

Superbowl & Service

First of all yeah for me for finally updating my blog! Sorry I'm just not that exciting but I will try harder this year, but I'm not promising anything!!!

My parents went to Hawaii the week before our big annual superbowl party. Because they didn't get home until gameday, Spencer, Nikki, TJ, Kelan, and I went grocery shopping with Daddy's $$$. Good thing he grows money trees in the back orchard cause we had every food your heart could desire. It was tons of fun though exept for the belly ache I had the day after from eating so much.

Nikki and I assumed the position right behind the fondue table so that we wouldn't have to get up to get our food.

Nicole loves her food!
TJ is in charge of Special Service Events up on campus. For spirit week he had to go buy 100 fleece blankets and get enough volunteers to teach and help tie blankets for the christmas shop with a cop program. We had tons of students shop up to help. It was awesome and we even finished all 100 blankets in about 3 hours.

Merilee, Emmerson, and TJ working on a blanket. The 3 of us finished about 4 blankets together between helping the volunteers that showed up get started.

All of our volunteer. They were all so awesome, many volunteers stayed the entire 3 hours to help get all of the blankets done. P.S. Because TJ is in charge, Merilee and I got nominated to be on TJ's commitee. It was a lot of fun and made me realize what good people we are surrounded by up here. There aren't many other campus' where college students would get up on a Saturday morning and go help make blankets!!!

Summer Recap

So, I know we have been really horrible about updating our blog this summer. We didn't really have to much of a a summer to tell you the truth. Ansley spent most of her summer going to school and TJ took one class and worked all summer at Walgreens here in Rexburg! We did go on a couple family vacations and we did do a lot of fun stuff. So...here is a little summer recap of the Bunnell Family's Summer!!!

We had the chance to go to St. Louis and my favorite was the Cardinals Game.
After many trips to St. Louis I finally got to go to my first Cards Game. We also had a lot of fun Bowling with Gina and her kids. Visiting Dayna and Glenn and their kids, and a birthday dinner with Pops and Gem, and dinner with the Glarners. We spent the weekend down at the Lake of the Ozarks with Mirae and Jay and had lots of fun going on a tour of the lake, miniture golfing, eating lots of good food, hiking, and swimming.

We went to Sequoia National Park! It was fun except for all of the long windy roads!

We went to the LA temple and did initiatories. It was gorgeous. Then the boys went to the baseball game and the girls went shopping.

The Sana cruz beach in San Jose. This was the final day of our trip. We were able to see Uncle John and Aunt Arvella who were serving a Mission in San Jose. Then Family bonding time began again for the 15 hour drive home.

For the Forth of July My parents went to Boise so TJ, me and our newest addition Merilee joined Ashley and Randy's family for another chuckers game and the melaleuca fireworks. A special thanks to the Carazales family for including us!

Westmark night at the Chuckers Game. The 2nd Pitch of the Game the Chuckers pitcher hit the Ogden Raptors batter and a huge brawl unraveled. I would have taken a picture but I couldn't take my eyes away from the flying punches.

I also had the opportunity to help decorate and ride on the float for Beehive for the forth of July parade. It was a fun experience and fulfilled my life long dream of being a parade queen.
