We headed to Idaho for Thanksgiving to spend some time with the Anderson clan. TJ flew out with me but only had a week off so he stayed the first week then flew back and I stayed an extra week. The boys did so well on the flights and Ledger slept a good portion of the trip out.
We met up with TJ's uncle Ryan in Park City and grabbed some lunch at Cafe Rio (yummy)! Then we headed to a fun place called Monkey Mountain. The boys loved it and had fun playing with their cousin Sophie.
When Merilee got off work we toured her cute new apartment then drove up to Idaho. Nikki and the boys flew in that evening so we met them at the airport. My boys love their cousins! We were definitely missing our buddies, and we were so glad to get to spend the week with them. Ryan and Stephen and their families couldn't make it this year, they were missed, and we can't wait to get to see them again!
These boys were pooped. They played hard!
Grandpa was so nice to share all of his desserts!
We took the boys to the mall to see Santa. They were so cute and held hands all the way through the mall.
The boys with the letters to Santa.
We spent the next week enjoying having grandma and grandpa all to ourselves. Then we headed down to Utah before I flew home. We went to Gardner's Village. It was a fun little shopping center with lots of cute stores and a yummy restaurant that we ate lunch at.
Sweet Afton's Candy store. Took this picture just for you Afton! We had to buy a treat too!
They had pony rides for $5 and so I let Cohen go on a pony ride. He was a little hesitant and nervous at first but by the end he was riding like a cowboy!
That night we went and saw the new City Creek Mall. It was beautiful. Then we went over and saw all the lights on temple square. Something I have not done in years. It was amazing and the boys loved all of the lights, and seeing the temple where Mommy and Daddy were married.
The fountain shows were one of our favorite things!
We walked over by the visitors center and Cohen saw the big statue of Christ. He wanted to go in and see Jesus. So we waited in line to go see the Christus statue. As soon as we got up there he said loudly, "mom, that's a BIG Jesus!" It was so cute, and everyone around us got a good laugh.
